Blog Tour - The Unwrapping of Theodora Quirke - Caroline Smailes

When 19-year old Theodora Quirke heads to work on Christmas Eve the last person she expects to find outside of her flat is St Nicholas of Myra - the Saint people think is Santa Claus (much to Saint Nick's disgust).

Given he is in full Santa suit and professing to be nearly 2000 years old Theo is wary, but St Nick insists he is here to save her - although he isn't sure how or why.

I am so excited to share this very special read! Not your typical Christmas read but still full of the Christmas spirit and magic! I couldn't put it down and got completely lost in the world of Theo. It had me in tears at some parts but laughing out loud at others!

I loved Caroline's style of writing as it is very realistic, honest and I felt like I was going on the journey with Theo! 

Theo is such an endearing character, she has had a difficult life so far and finds that she is just trying to get through each day, rather than living. Enter St Nick who travels through time with Theodora to show her different parts of her past all to help her to move on. Charles Dickens with a modern day twist.

St Nick, oh what a brilliant character!! Some real laugh out loud moments and from now on I am going to be looking for magic on the 6th December!

 This is one I will be re reading each Christmas, so get comfy by the fire and grab your copy!.... you wont regret it!
